Oh yeah. When I look right at it, it bothers me enough to go back on Tuesday, but I'm too happy to have it back to part with it so soon.

I would be pissed too...but someone had to cough up the money and you had to cough up the deductible.
I would not take anything less than excellence

The fear of getting the mini van back may make me want to keep it.

If it is only noticeable when you point it out to people then I wouldn't worry about it. If people are pointing it out to you........well then I may sign up for the mini van route again.

Often this is not possible as you may be the only Ram parked in a given lot. Ram's are not dime-a-dozen in my area..... at least not ones in "decent" condition. I see many old n' beaten up ones. I would never park next to any beaten up vehicle as they have nothing to lose....

I'm an advocate of parking far away and walking the few more paces. I often park a good 200-plus feet from the entrance of a retailer and often nobody within 2-3 car spaces either side of me. Parents with small children, the elderly anmd disabled can [deservedly] have the close spots.

Plus, my fat ass needs the cardio benefits.....

What's the purpose of snapping a photo?
I just like to take a picture of our RAM With other great looking vehicles.

That is sage advice, right there.

I know. Its a tough situation. Because it is my pride and joy. I'm only on the fence because I don't want to be without it again.

Think of it this way....it's 3-5 days without your truck and the rest of the time (going forward) forgetting it ever happened. Providing of course the fix is near stock and nothing else happens down the road
OR
You personally know there is a difference in shade. This feeling fades away over time, then out of no where someone points out the shade difference...frustrating you all over again

I'd say, the 3-5 days without it far out weighs option 2

Just saying...

I know. I'm already planning a convo w the csr at 427 Auto Collision on Tuesday. He'll tell me that plastic is hard to match (Usually the bumper ends up darker or brighter than the rest of the vehicle because the vehicle's paint has faded over time and because the evaporation rate for solvents on plastic is longer than metal. Which gives the flake more time to float to the surface and separate which can give it a darker hue.) and I'll tell him I could maybe understand if my vehicle wasn't less than a year old and if the new paint wasn't LIGHTER than the factory paint.
