timmy, I love the nittos, the size is about perfect. no rubbing anywhere. there is a slight road noise at highway speeds, but nothing like a set of mud tires or something. the tread is wicked looking too.

spoiler, I would say look for the thread of the guy that did a write up on how to remove the handles for painting. I wrapped mine while on the truck and it was a PITA.

yea but I dont want it dull looking, I am taking it to powder coat soon and going to have it coated gloss black. then I will plasti dip the exhaust tips. then new projector head lights, and that should about wrap up the outside for the most part.

Truck looks good. I love the drop. I was considering the same drop on my 2013 sport. How did it affect your ride quality and handling. Why did you have to add the bags again?

JimmyV, it shouldn't drastically change the ride. Of course since you are changing the suspension geometry by lowering, the ride will change.
Im sure they can chime in as to the exact feel of it

if you do need this, let us know
we are having a pretty wild July 4th Sale, just have a look at my sig

jimmy, the ride is great. a bit stiff, of course. it handles much better over all. I added the bags because after install i was bottoming out on even the smallest of bumps in the rear. So if i added even a small payload it would ride on the bumpstops. So with the airbags it rides like it should.

Carbon wrapping handles......

Mad props to you man- I bought the carbon film- I tried and tried and tried.
First off- I have some skills with my hands but have never tried anything like carbon wrapping door handles.
I made a blue tape rough template- cut the film to approximate size-made a first attempt armed with razor knife, torch, spray bottle, scraper and a plan.
Okay ..... tough working with so many compound curves. first attempt came out "crap level nine" learned a few lessons.
second attempt- a little more careful wielding the torch.... "crap level 6" but made definite progress.
Never say die attitude lead to attempts 3,4,5....... crap, crap, crap but at least down to "crap level 1 or 2"
I ripped it all off and came in to take a second look at your pictures.
Damn you did a great job!!!
I will make another run at it this weekend because as PITA as it was... i was still having fun.

Now you get me thinking. I have never wrapped myself and will be wrapping my interior of my car. Is it really this difficult?
