Between this Ford truck and that GM 6.2, Dodge's hand should pretty much pushed to offering the ole 6.1 motor in the general lineup with no virtual upcharges or at least hope so. The so called possible upcharge of the Tremor is negated for the fact that a ready available $500 tuner unleashes another 70whp/150wtq or more just on the milder tunes. With the GM older technology of OHV, aftermarket will be developing radical cams, count on it. Yes, Id have to think Dodge will have to do something, lets hope these 8 speed trannys cure the drivetrain issues of power, and Dodge ease up on keeping these PCMs from lockdown... Id have to say local drag tracks is gonna get real interesting by next spring for all fans

LOL I'm really not worried at all about anybody chasing me down. Everyone seems to have an obsession with having the fastest truck out there, but there's always somebody faster(and usually many faster ).

I personally think every late model F series is ugly. It's just an ugly body style. The previous body style was ugly IMO also, except the lightning, it was pretty good looking. The body style before that was really nice looking.

Nope, can't change my mind. I'm not hating on them. I just don't like the way it looks. As for the looks complimenting it's ability to "chase us down" I'd have to be running from it first. If it were a female in a bar I still wouldn't pick her up, yeah she'd have to chase me down. Don't like the way it looks, no sir. Lipstick on a pig and I'm still not kissing it.

Nope. I don't think it has much style. Looks like I can make a model of it with toy wooden blocks.

I like the looks, I always have. Honestly I shopped Ford first but I would have had to order the truck I wanted....It would have been $39 k for the same set up I have on the Ram except the Ford would have had the 5.4 in it.

I have the 8 speed and Hemi in my Jeep, it's better but not that much of a difference. They need to put the 6.4 with the 8 speed in the Ram, it would be a while before anyone would catch up with that!

I raced an ecoboost in a quad cab in my 07on an on ramp from a 30 roll and I out ran it.......the express will have no issues running away from it........but still hoping this forces Ramand SRT in to building a SRT RAM again.....

Least Ford is offering a performance package, so kudos to them. Likely not my cup of tea, but then again, I cannot get past how the brand loyalty for them gets the price tag so high. Ex: The Raptor. No way in hell I am dropping M3 level coin on that thing. Apples to shit burritos there.

That said, as much of a turbo 6 fan that I am (GN owner), I am beyond skeptical that this new Trombone thing will be equivalent of a Lightning. Either version. Ever.

Glad there are more options, though. Gotta give Ford credit there for sure.
