Default Rustproofing overspray

So, I have noticed that the rustproof application was pretty shotty. I have a question about what to look for after I have them remove it. I have heard that the solvent that they use is pretty nasty on sealants/wax, etc. Anything else that need to worry about it when I get this removed?

Is this the mastershield undercoating from Chrysler? I have a lot of specs on mine as well. I did not notice it when I picked it up, and I'm looking for a safe way to remove it as well. Mine is mainly on the lower side of the rocker's and box..

Man, sorry to see that....I would take it back and have them remove the over spray.... If you are thinking of removing it yourself, I would PM Primospaghetti.....He is the resident expert and would be able to give you some advice and possibly offer a product that you could use....Please let us know how you make out.....

wow that is pretty bad.

if the dealer doesn't help you out...WHICH THEY SHOULD! i might have some recommendations depending on whether it is a oil based product or not.

I cant stand when there is no pride in workmanship.

It frosts me as well! I guess I should have taken a better look when I took ownership. I flew 2000 km's to pick it up and arived at 1630 on a Friday evening which helped move things along quickly in terms of the purchase. I looked for showstoppers, and did not notice the specs all over the rockers and the lower side of the box. It does come off with clay and elbow grease, but not much QA from the dealership on the customers behalf in my opinion.... Service is not what it use to be!
