Thanks!!! I need to post some new pics as I've done a LOT of exterior modifications since those pics. Also need to post pics of the HID light output and the LED DRL I added to the front.

I've got about 2,000 miles on thus far, averaging anywhere between 15-18 mpg hand calculated, and I live in the mountains with daily driving elevation changes of about 1,200 feet, so I'm happy with that. I came from a grand cherokee hemi that averaged about 12 on a good day (my right foot didn't help )

The only thing I've towed so far is a 20 foot car hauler trailer with 2 side by side ATVs for 132 miles per the EVIC (total weight only about 5,500 lbs). Never knew it was back there and averaged about 13 mpg doing 60-65 avg mph.

I just purchased a similar truck today 2013 Ram 2500 Longhorn Crew Cab in Black Gold. How difficult were the HID lights, are they hi and low beam and where should I look to buy them. Thanks and Congrats to you.

Thanks and congrats to you as well. You will love the truck! As far as the HID lights, they were quite easy to install. Low beam only. I got mine through Xenon supply. I have used them for years on other vehicles, and knock on wood, never a problem. They are more expensive than ebay stuff, but it is high quality and good workmanship. I went with 4300 K because I wanted a factory look and the most light output.

The most important thing, whichever brand/kit you choose, make sure your ballasts are CANBus compatible and you use an accessory wiring harness....otherwise you are gonna run into problems with flickering and EVIC bulb out notices.

If you decide to do the Xenonsupply kit, its the 9006 XS kit. The kit with premium CANBus ballasts and wiring harness is like $180 shipped. If you use coupon code "facebook10" you can get 10% off. I ended up paying like $160 to the door for everything.

Here are some pics of the lights. The truck is sitting on a major decline as you can see. I need to get some pics on the highway so you can see the light output. However, even at this angle you can see they are fantastic.
