Cool how low can i go

hello i have been working on putting my 94 dodge ram 1500 2wd long bed back together over the past few weeks. tore it down to paint the frame and replace the engine.
now to my question, in my option i think the truck sits way way to high i almost think its a 4wd truck and i don't like that so i want to know how much i can lower the truck with the stock 265-75-r16 on it. thanks for any information that u might be able to help me with
p.s. in the Future i might upgrade to 20 in rims or maybe 22 will the drop effect that. i want it as low as i can go

You can go as low as the ground effects on your truck will let you. I have seen trucks spark when they go over even the slightest bumps because the frame was so close to the ground. As for the tires, you can take the wheel wells out and they shan't be a problem. It all depends on how much time, money and effort you want/are willing to put in to it. Have fun with it. Start a build thread and keep us up to date with pics.
