I dont think they have a "pre" made line for the rams..... a few years ago they didnt do converters for the LX/LC platform either although they can build them.... The word spread among my Charger crowd and now they are popular. They deal in all size converters and they know how to build a mean one for sure....

How much did your TC run you from FTI? Im curious to know if it is similar to the Edge TC.

I think mine was about $800 but it also includes one free restall. If you mod your truck heavily you can send it back to them with your new dyno sheet and specs and they will rebuild it for free....



I have tried a Pro Torque 2800, a Pro Torque Billet Stator 4400, a PI 3600, a stock SRT8 Cherokee, and 2 different Paramount Dominator converters and the FTi by far was the best......

one thing I have learned with heavily modding my Charger over the last 5 years, you get what you pay for

When you go on their site and pick your converter you will see some fields that need to be filled in about your truck. All of that info goes to Andre and he will get back to you very quickly with his recommendation. After that you can ask him any questions you have, he is very helpful.

Also, I just noticed that there is a shift kit on their site as well. It's only $75. Would that be something to look into to compliment the TC?

I've got one from trans go in my garage as we speak, just never got around to installing it. Will probably install it when I change the trans fluid again. I have heard a lot of good reviews about the shift kit.

The Transgo shift kit works great. I had one in my 1999 Jeep GC and it would chirp the tire shifting into second and it had a 4.0L I6. Also makes the trans last much longer. Wish I could get one for my truck but they are not making one yet. I called today to double check and they havent even heard of a 65 rfe...
