I would guess lots of folks are taken by the totally blacked out look which has been popular over the years across all brands.
Fortunately, all the key parts are either available over the parts counter or by painting/powder coating your existing parts.
Some brands like BMW have just released a blacked out M5 model (called the 'Night Hawk') that even goes a step further utilizing flat black paint. However, I would stick with shiny paint for easy maintenance. It is fun to see how manufacturers interpret the black on black look.
