Issue: The truck I bought came with a factory spray in bed liner and the more I get to know this truck the more ticked off I am getting.

I had a Line-x liner sprayed in my 2003 Ram 1500 and after 10 years it still looks as good as new, however this factory sprayed in liner sucks. I am finding places in the interior of some of the supports where this liner is peeling away and it looks line its sprayed on each bed piece before it was assembled.

So, my question is, can the factory liner be removed so i can get a proper bed liner sprayed in, of could a line-x liner be sprayed over the factory liner?

Got to do something.

Ideas, suggestions, anything?

I inspected my factory spray in liner and am very happy with the quality thus far! Maybe I could have saved $50 dollars by going the aftermarket route but till the gas is paid for driving to an aftermarket dealer I would be even or at a loss! Just my opinion!

if your factory spray in liner is defective, use the warranty to have it fixed. you could always put in a bed rug and just cover it up.
