Plenty of info on the web about Hemis and detonation (spark knock, preignition, if you prefer). Google it. Ask the guys on here. Talk to a cmr tuner.

Don't understand the CAI compliment but thanks.

Not trying to start anything, I think your CC looks cool. I just put function over form (most of the time), regardless of price or branding. I love to DIY, but I won't do something that performs less than a manufactured product just so I can say I did it and/or saved a buck. JMO. Good luck with your mods, sincerely.
Yeah, I did google hemi's and detonation. Didnt find much if anything at all. Most of the info was years old, but googling spark knock(or knock retard) find a few things. I read more about it for the Hemi's.

I know what it is though. It's very common in the grand prix with being supercharged. You can get 5-6* KR with a stock pulley on a hot day. The best mod for that is a I/C, then you can drop pulleys. I run a 2.8 KR free unless Im beating on it in the heat. The blower will get heat soaked I will get a couple *'s

Does a ton of work on the new 5.7, 6.1 and 6.4L Eagle Hemi's
...but wont even take on a new customer until they run a Catch Can for at least a few weeks
to reduce the amount of oil film coating the inside of the intake manifold.

If you ever saw a Hemi with the intake removed, you would be shocked!
...and the amount of oil my BT Catch Can has removed from going back into the intake over the past 2.5 years is quite disturbing.
Yeah, I will talk toSouthern Hotrod about or my friend who's one the best tuners in the Louisiana.

Thanks guys

Thanks guys
I get 0 LT Knock Retard, and 0.5º or less ST KR data logging at the track
93 Diablo canned tune, 94 Octane fuel.

Once my Vortech Supercharger goes on I'll be adding a Water/Meth injection kit to bring octane levels up to 116.
...almost zero chance of detonation

If interested in Boost protection and a little added performance,
an underhood Stage 1 Kit starts at $299

Yes, I ran Devilsown kit years ago.
http://www.alcohol-injection.com/en/

I didn't have good results with it.
It doesn't seem to work well with positive displacement blowers. Running 0* washer fluid I sprayed after the maf and before the TB. It would make me run pig rich, bog down and kill my top end. Granted I never got the opportunity to get a custom tune like do now. When data logging my fuel trims would be all over the place while spraying. I wouldn't know where to start. It did kill my KR drowning my car in fuel, but it seemed like I would have to re-tune it everyday depending on the weather.

I know some of the 03-04 Cobra guys run allky, but I think most just get a bigger FMHE and/or Ford GT fuel pumps and call it a day.

It does work great on Turbo'd cars/trucks. It's a must when you want to turn of the boost.
