As far as taking bugs off I've always used the more abbrasive side of a double sided wash mitt as shown in the picture HERE. That's always worked really well for me on both my truck and my dad's Peterbilt that gets absolutely COVERED after long trips. Having a good soap while doing it also helps.
Thanks! I will give that a try. I just picked up a product this morning, will post the details on it if it works well. Can't remember the name off top of my head, they were doing a demo with it at the Petro this morning, worked well then, looking forward to doing the whole truck.

Looks even better plastidipped.

I wonder what it looks like shaved off

Vararam are in stock and on route to us. I will keep you posted on that too
Thanks brother! Looking forward to it.

I second the rougher side of the mit, but I fear of getting fine scratches on mine. But its the only way I know to remove bug guts off the front of my truck

That looks super duper, Dood! Now take some color match paint and do the background around the Ram and it will really stand out. Nice job!

Did you paint yours by hand using a small brush?

I did. My hood emblem does not come off or apart. So I leveled my hood by raising it and getting on a ladder, then poured some in and smoothed it out with a small brush. Had to get some matte black touch up paint as well to touch up a few oopses. I leveled the back emblem by taking the tailgate off and did the same procedure. When you're right on top of it, you can tell it was touched up, but from a few feet back... damn, it looks good. Yours will be easier b/c 1) your front emblem comes off and separates and 2) your emblem has a lot more surface so it will be easier, even in the rear. Post some pics up when/if you do it and have fun!

Thanks for the info, sounds like a lot of fun to me! I love that stuff, been into building models and painting small details like that every since I was a kid so this is getting be excited! lol

On a side note, dropped into a tint shop in Oshawa yesterday, got a quote to do my two front windows to match my back, $80. Gonna set up an appointment. Don't know if I want to go darker or not though is the only thing. I like the back tint, but a shade or two darker may be better with the way the look of the truck is going... not sure what to do yet.

That is the ultimate question... lol

I like the rear window tint, so for cost savings, I may just match that. May look at going darker, but it will all depend on cost right now.

Throw a 40% tint on the front windshield....it will darken everything else.
This is what I will probably do with mine
