Default tow mirror help

i bought some tow mirrors for my 2000 1500 dodge ram sport from lmctruck.com
the mirror doesnt sit entirely flat against the truck but they might after i get it screwed on.
the wire looks like its going to get pinched.
and it came with the bracket that im pretty sure goes inside the door but the screws from the mirror barely even reach the bracket. they go in the hole less than a 1/16"
i called lmctruck and talked to several people who knew nothing about the product they sell.

The wiring will be fine. Dont worry about it. The bracket is used to support the weight of the huge mirror. you will only be able to get the nuts on a couple turns. make sure you dont over tighten them.
