Default What is the best radio to have in this truck, aftermarket and OEM too?

What is the best aftermarket or OEM radio the people have found to work with this truck? My Sirius is about up and I am thinking about upgrading to something different. Right now I have the second lowest radio option.

I have the 730n and I like it. Its the top of the line radio I believe. Some people dont like the navigation on the 730 , but it works fine for me. Its nice how the navigation works with the evic. I dont have any negatives to say about it from my personal experience.

stock radios would either be the more expensive RHR 730N with Navteq Navigation
ot the RHB 430N with Garmin Navigation

but the price of either of these stock radios is very costly

you could by a much better radio with any options that you wanted/needed for less

look at the CRUTCHFIELD website
check off the options that you want & it will point to your options

IF you have the RBZ 430 radio, you can sell it for a reasonable price & recover even more $$$$

I would like to keep the factory radio but I am missing some upgrades. Like uconnect. Is it hard to upgrade from a FM/AM/CD/SiriusXM radio to the better ones?

I have 2 Rams, one with the 730N and one with the 430N. The 430N is a much better one IMO, although they are both good.

Noticeable Differences:
- Navigation, the 430 uses Garmin and the 730 uses another software.
- 730N you can have Nav on half the screen and radio info on the other side, 430N you have to choose.
- That's really about it I think.

what are the letters on the front of your radio, lower right corner, near the AUX port?

if you currently have Uconnect, ( your phone interfaces with the radio )
you won't have to purchase a external Uconnect module, because you already have one

the RHR & RER 730N radios don't need that external module, it is built inside of those 2 radios

RES. I would need that module for uconnect. It sounds like I would need to buy more items to upgrade the factory radio to an upgraded one.

I recently did an OEM head unit swap with lock pick and it was a quick and easy install. I pick up the head unit for under 1k and lock pick for under $300.00.

My unit is the low speed RER unit. So far it works great.
