Default Squeaky noise from bilsteins!!!!

I got bilstein shocks set at 2.1 on about 1 month ago and love them, but all of a sudden they started to squeak when i am driving and i know it is them because when i tried to move the truck (like push it side to side) i heard the noise coming from them. Has anyone had this problem, and/or know how to fix it?
Thanks

Had this issue with my bils about a month after my lift was installed , fix get your self a can of spray lube wd-40 , rustcheck etc.. give the upper and lower spring mounts a spray . I have had to do this again recently , eventually water washes it away .

Does this make the squeak go away completely, at least until you have to spray it again?

A lot of people on this forum run bilsteins and I have not heard/read about this before. Maybe someone else can chime in that runs them?

Ok so i sprayed wd-40 on them and it seems that the squeak has gone away only when i rock the truck, but is still there when i drive over bumps (over 20mph). Could it be something else, or maybe got a bad pair of shocks? Any help will be great.

The squeak can come from several places. Most of the time it is the bushings in the shock loop. Other times it is the rubber isolator at the top of the shock. Giving the bushings a quick spray of wd-40 will help. If it continues when you compress the springs then you need to lube the isolator on top of the spring. Remember as the spring compresses it also rotates. The upper isolator should have had some grease applied before install. If it didn't then it can squeak. Its a lot of work to take everything apart, so you may try using the straw to get a good amount of lube up top then drive over some bumps to get it moved around.

Remember anything rubber or poly that moves CAN squeak (doesn't mean it will). Rubber tends to squeak less, but poly last longer. Its a toss up.

Me personally , every few 1000's kms I spray every rubber bushing on my truck . keep them lubed up and I haven't and any more squeak's I also spray each spring mounts front and rear .

FYI, NAPA makes a very thick sprayable grease that works great for these type of issues. I had squeaky bushings on my rear leaf springs, hosed them down with the NAPA grease and after about 5 miles for it to work its way in all noises gone. Because it is thick and sticky it does not wash away with water.
