Question Stock wheel with 4" lift questions

I have searched on here and other forums but have not found the answers to my questions.

1. What is the backspacing of my stock 17" wheels? These

2. Will my stock wheels fit with this lift? CST 4" CAST LIFT SPINDLES (Which says, WHEELS MUST NOT HAVE MORE THAN 4.75" BACKSPACE)

I kind of like the design of my wheels, so I am hoping the will work. I am even consider having them powder coated black in the future.

I'm not 100% sure but I believe they are 8" wide with a +19 offset giving them a backspacing of 5.25"

I was afraid of that. Not to doubt you, but is there anyone that is 100% sure. Even though he is probably right. If so, then I need to start looking at some new wheels.

The width is the only thing I'm unsure of. Some of the 17's are 7" wide and some are 8" wide.

EDIT: Just did a quick search and from what I found it looks like the stock 17's for a 2005 had an even bigger positive offset giving them more of a backspacing. One post said 5 9/16" and the other said 6 1/4". So either way it's looking like those wheels aren't going to work for you.

Thanks, I found out the same thing this morning. I decided to go have my tire rotated since it is free and while the wheels where off I asked the tech if he could find the back spacing for me and he said that it is 5 9/16". Look like I need to start looking for some new wheels. I was hoping to keep my wheels and also avoid the extra cost. Oh well, its only money.

Have you thought about using wheel spacers to get the clearance you need?

Here's a place that makes hub-centric units:

Thank you for the link. I have thought about it however, considering I need over 1 inch it kind of scares me. I would hate to a have a weak point at the wheels. I have already been through one roll over in my old bagged ford ranger and I don't plan on doing it again.
