Vegas, you're the second forum person I now of who went from Tundra to Ram. The other is Breathing Borla. He's also still on a Tundra forum I'm on posting about his new Ram. I like his perspective. I'm still researching on a heap of truck forums.

I saw a few threads over there @ tundra forum. Wow... the tundra guys really hatin' the Ram and can't believe it is getting better reviews than the Tundra. I don't care what people buy so I find it funny when people bash another brand of truck. There's lots of nice trucks of different brands, but when you gotta say that brand must be paying for the positive reviews it gets on one particular years release, it looks kinda desperate.

I hate to admit it, but I traded my '12 CC Laramie with a trouble free 25K miles on it for a new '13 Ecoboost FX4 a few months ago. Even though the F150 was loaded (51K msrp) it was really a step down from the '12 Laramie IMO. Build quality wasn't that great, it just looked/felt cheap everywhere. Only redeeming quality was a slightly larger rear seat area (flat floor) and HID headlights.

Hated it so much I took a good sized hit just to get back in a '13 Laramie and get that F150 out of my driveway, was almost tempted to sell the F150 outright and buy my old '12 lol. I had good luck with an '11 and '13 Mustang GT and I thought I'd try something different and give the F150 a try since they are pretty much giving them away. My last new Ford truck was a 6.0 diesel F250 and I swore after that mess I'd never buy another Ford truck. The Ecoboost gave me that same sinking feeling that me and the dealer service department were about to become good friends again..

Anyhow, I fell for the ecoboost/F150 marketing hype, glad to be back in a '13 Ram..

I liked the tundra don't get me wrong but the Ram has such a nicer ride and the interior is way better then the tundra. I like the Ramboxes and the air suspension and now I'm getting better gas mileage as well! The tundras front rotors were warped and the air conditioning blower motor was going bad and I only had 32000 miles on it.

I had two tundras prior to my Ram but I still kinda miss the tundra. I guess I just got used to a few features the ram doesn't offer. Like roll down rear window, adjustable rear back seats, assisted tailgate and the get up and go. I do love the ram though.
