Default Towing with a lowered 4x4

Ok guys I need a little help. I have always loved lowered trucks, all my trucks have been lowered 4x2s. I recently bought a 2013 sport 4x4 with the plan to eventually tow a travel trailer with total weight around 7k. I was planning to level the front with bilstein shocks but then started looking at pictures of lowered 4G and now am seriously thinking about lowering the truck. Does anyone tow serious weight with a lowered truck? How does lowering a 4x4 affect tow rating. I know that I will for sure need an airlift system to tow 7k whether the truck is lowered or not. What is the issue with drop spindles? How much farther to they push the wheels out? I would prefer to keep the ride as factory as possible if i lowered the truck. Sorry for all the questions, all my trucks were lowered chevy S-10s so there were tons of options.

Really from what I read and I could be incorrect but the spindles should fit the 4x4 and besides the wheel issue provided better angles for CV joints than springs would. I am not too concerned with the spindle issues, as I would gladly get the ground force kit if it will not affect the towing capabilities.

Default Lowering for Function, not for Style...

I also recently purchased a 2013 4x4 Ram 2500. We wanted a 4x2 since it is lower but none could be found nearby. We will be towing a 24' InTech enclosed car hauler that is only 4200 lbs. We will not be hauling cars in the trailer, it is being used as a mobile office.

Is it possible to lower a 4x4 Ram 2500? If so, what is needed to do so? Would lowering have any negative implications to towing?
