Default A New and Improved Water Leak Issue...

Last significant rain, my 2012 Bighorn Crew Cab became a swimming pool in the front drivers side floor. The back up camera wouldn't work and the break controller was inoperative.

Dealer paid a subcontractor called "Seal Tech" who sealed the front roof seams, A-post, Drip rail and split seam.

All of the electronics worked fine within 24 hours. I put a fan in the truck and dried it over night. Dealer noted issues in service record but checked nothing as far as I can tell.

Wow...I'd be pissed!! I had a bad rear window seal and they added silicone to fix it. The carpet pretty much stayed soaked because it started in spring time in Oklahoma. And took 3 months to get it fixed!!!

Hope your problem is fixed!!!

Does the truck have a sunroof? I put my truck in the shop about a month ago because I had water coming down the driver side A Pillar and water would run down the AC vent and drip on the trailer brake controller causing it to malfunction. They found the front driver side dain tube was kinked and the two back drain weren't even hooked up. Since then no leaks and it has poured rain for the past month.

Thanks for the info about the drain tubes. No mention of it. All of the electronics are working fine right now, but I will keep a watch. Hopefully all is well. the dealer was GREAT. I would highly recommend them. Have done business with them for 15 years through 4 different vehicles with never a complaint about their service dept.
