Default Lowering kit

I have an 08 sport 1500. It's 4 door and has 4wd. The question I have is, I'm looking for a lowering kit for it. It's a complete street truck. I hardly ever take it off road. I've found multiple lowering kits for 08 rams but the common factors I've found in both that I'm confused about is some of them say standard cab (self explanatory) with rwd drive and extended/crew cab rwd. Does it matter that I have 4wd? Or can I use one of these kits?

From what I've read the front suspension is different from 2wd to 4x4.

4wd is different from 4x4; I may need to be schooled here but did the Rams come with all time 4wd?

When talking about a ram you have rear wheel drive and 4WD or 4x4 (depending on who you talk to they might say 4x4 or 4wd both are the same as far as these trucks are concerned) there was not a full time 4 wheel drive or AWD option on these trucks.

Thanks
Jeremiah

I apologize. It is 4x4 not 4wd.

I didn't mean any disrespect. I was just curious because I know the older Dakotas came with all time all wheel drive.
