I would bet the majority of Rams get about 17-21mpg, depending on what size engine, transmission, gearing, and truck size/weight you eventually get. Plus factor in your driving habits. And then the list of mods that can be done. A lot of "what if's" for everyone to get an individual mpg rating.
The Capt got it right. The 25mpg is for the v6. Technically it is a 1500 so Ram can claim it.

I have pics on my phone after break in, 6000+ Klms.
64Km/h 27mpg 1200rpm
76Km/h 23mpg 1300rpm
99Km/h 25mpg 1500rpm
All taken about 5-10 minutes after cruise control set, on straight and flat highway.
Full tank of fuel, 87 oct. just the family of 5 in the truck.
Camping last weekend, pulling 30 foot 6060 pound travel trailer lightly loaded. truck had family of 5, and bikes in the back of truck. found the "sweet spot" at 96Km/h 11mpg, 1800rpm.
truck is a 2013 bighorn, 5.7, 3.92, crew cab with rambox. fairly loaded with other accessories.

The best I've gotten with my 05 hemi QC4x4 Ram, coming home from drag racing at E Town, NJ to Maine. Sunday afternoon, almost no traffic and got 20 mpg on a tank. Sunoco 260 gas, 94 octane. Normally I get 17.5 or less. I have managed to get 22 mpg driving my friend's 06 Ram with mds however.

I just got back from a trip to CO in mine. I was quite happy. Williston ND to Gillette WY is the hilly mileage killing drive. I kept to 60 mph, which is just fast enough to cajole the truck against its will into "6th" gear. Revs are right at 1500 rpm. My A/C was off as it was cool outside - perfect driving weather. 20.2 mpg was the number by the calculator.

Next morning I gt up and filled the truck to make the haul to my folks place in Aurora, CO. Again, I set the cruise to 60 after working my way through the town of Gillette. Terrain starts a general downhill trend, with a climb into Cheyenne and an obvious drop to Ft. Collins. This particular stretch had the instant MPG bar pegged almost constantly I filled the truck at the Costco in Aurora, CO. The calculator revealed a new high tank for me at 24.7 mpg. Again the weather was cool enough to keep the A/C off and windows up.

The tank for the drive home included about 10 miles of in town driving with the computer reporting 9 mpg for the short putzing around town. I also had a large TV console in the bed wrapped in a tarp for the drive home. It was much warmer on this drive, making A/C use necessary. I continue to keep the truck to a max of 60 mph. I fill in Gillette, WY again, with the calculator revealing a 22.8 mpg average.

The final run back to Williston was warm, windy and back in the hilly terrain. I continued to maintain the 60 mph max speed with the final fill at the pumps where I work showing that I averaged 20.2 mpg.

The fills in Gillette and Aurora were both with 91 octane gas.

quite likely any Canadian is measuring in IMP gallons, divide by 1.2 to figure out what you would be getting in US gallons. In Canada ram claims to get 36 mpg IMP, but as others have said in the tiny fine print it says v6/ 8 speed, 2wd reg cab. If they claim it then they did get it somewhere, perhaps with the wind pushing them, this is probably also at sea level with the temperature just right, synthetic oil etc.

Naw, unlike the Euro market, the manufacturer EPA mileage claims are much more conservative due to the specific 5 cycle test and equipment requirements. They have to be readily reproducible otherwise fineapalooza happens (and ensuing lawsuits). Hyundai just went through this.
