They also told me I needed to stay with Mopar for my muffler, I didn't know Mopar offered Magna Flow type exhaust. Any comments appreciated.
AFE Stage 1 is the mopar CAI iirc. It's just painted a different color and has the mopar sticker on it.

As for exhaust iirc the Mopar kit for the Rams os the borla sport catback just with tips that have the mopar M on them.

I'd personally go there and ask them if an afe cai or a borla exhaust would void the warranty. Just to have some fun with them and then say "well the afe stage 1 IS the mopar cai and the borla sport IS the Exhaust" and see what they say to that lol.

Either one of those is a good product, you just have to pay more for them with the MOPAR brand on them

I just read the entire thread, wow what a way to spend an hour and a half! I read of talk about just changing the the ribbed intake tube after the filter and then using a drop in filter. I found this product, is this the right type of product as a smooth intake tube? (it says custom fit to my truck)

It's one of those things that if you have 300 bucks to spend as you please, go for it. It's a very nice product.. I added a Green performance drop in air filter to my stock air box. It surprised me by increasing throttle response enough to notice vs the slightly dirty stock air filter. 60 bucks and I am done. My father who has a 2012 QC Express, added a drop in K&N air filter. Then later on he made a very nice 4" duct that runs from the factory hole in the air box all the way down to the front lower grill and has a wide scoop hidden behind a custom grill insert. You can't see it. Anyways point is, after all that work, he noticed no improvement in power or mpg's what so ever. It is purty to look at though. hehe

I just purchased the S&B CAI with the drop tube and scoop. It's fully enclosed, uses the provided fender well air supply and forces air up the tube from under the vehicle. Therefore, "The faster you go, The harder she breathes" Ha.
