Default not happy with the acceleration.

hey guys, I'm having trouble with my acceleration.

I can hit the gas to the floor and it just slowly accelerates.
I i can take my foot off and slam again to change the gears cause i thought it might be hung up.

Any suggestion's or advice that could help?

Hmmmm...so many things that could be contributing to this.

1. Search for other related threads.

2. What have you done to the truck?

Does it seem to you like a transmission or gearing problem, or a loss of engine power?

Plenum gasket blown perhaps ? Catalytic converter clogged? I am dealing with a similar problem though it doesn't seem as extreme as yours. But those two are what Ive narrowed it down to with a ton of help from members here. Also reading up to page 35 of the threads helps as well.
