Default Opinions of Durun M/T's?

I ended up getting offered a crazy good deal on a set of Durun M/T's (37x13.5R22) to replace my OpenCounties on my truck, but a friend of mine said he had them a while back on his LBZ Duramax and the torque of the diesel tore them apart. Whats your opinion of Durun tires? These will be going on a 6.7L Cummins so if they just fly apart then maybe I'll be better off going to the Nitto Trail Grapplers like I had originally intended to.

Thanks for any insight!

can't recall anyone on here running those. or else I'd refer them to this thread.

I would keep shopping, they might be a great tire but there is little to no info on this tire & it appears to be a Toyo MT rip off. An extra $100-$200 spent on quality tires could save you lots headache in the future.

Yeah I could tell by the picture. I got OpenCountries on my truck right now and I don't want to have "less" tire than I had before.

I think I'll phone them back or pop in for a visit and tell 'em. I bought KMC XD 810 Brigades in a 22" so the R20 Toyo's I have now wont swap over. I originally went in there for Trail Grapplers so I think thats what I'll end up going for. Better to do it right the first time. Thanks!
