My Ram has given me 180,000+ miles of trouble free driving. Yup, it's love.

I don't think the answer is a simple yes and no question. They all have their cons. I had a new 5.0 work truck and it got great gas mileage and I ABSOLUTELY LOVED the new six speed auto trans. However, I feel they're ugly and it rode like a tank. As far as chevy goes, the LS engine is reliable and veeery strong when modded while still maintaining decent gas mileage. I've had problems out of the 4L60 trans before though. The chevy's are cheap to mod and look great aesthetically when modded. As far as my 2012 Ram, I love the power, looks, and ride quality, but I hate the gas mileage and the way the trans shifts. They all have pros and cons in my opinion.

i don't Love my '09 Ram, i like it

i would be in a GM 1/2 ton if i could have found a '09 Chevy 1500 w/4 wheel disc brakes & no ONSTAR
that system can be used to shut off 6 of the 8 cylinders, just by calling ONSTAR
talk about BIG BROTHER !!!

Is Fords SYNC any different ? Fords never made a good automatic transmission

my '09 seats could be more comfortable & have a bit more height adjustment
the Sunburst Orange changes to a UGLY color under some parking lot lights

Watch out 2013 owners, now Chrysler also has BIG BROTHER, it is called
(EVTS) First vehicle-tracking system to send owner an alert when vehicle is driven too fast or too far based on set parameters
who else does it inform, maybe your insurance company, the police
what else can be done with it?
Going beyond what some systems offer, the Chrysler system will offer arrival/departure notification, maps of a vehicle’s past locations, 24/7 emergency service dispatch, online tracking and an on-board panic button

Yeah, I love my truck. Sometimes a little too much, according to my wife. And I especially love that it's paid off and I now a have money pit... eh, I mean a hobby, to make it a unique truck.

ok i can't say i love my ram....technically i don't have one. but i LOOOOOOOVE my POWER WAGON!!!! and i know what you guys are gonna say. "yea yea i know you think it's not a ram but it is!!! it only says power wagon but it's just a ram 2500." and in a sense that is correct. the body and interior is a ram but the frame isn't a 2500 ram frame and the diffs are different and the suspension is different too. and a ram don't come with a factory winch. i have owned fords (i loved my 87 bronco with the 351) and i have owned a couple gmc's (bowties are for little boys) lol at least thats what i think. when i got my dodge i looked at a few sierras and i hate the square wheel wells. the last time i looked tires are round not square. and i looked at a few fords but all the probs i hear about with cam phazers kinda scares me. i think dodge is the way to go.....for me anyway.

I really like my ram, but there are certain things I like from other brands (all from the 1990s).

Reasons why dodge products annoy me;
1). the trans sucks, plain and simple, feels okay, but is piece of crap.
2). After 20 years and still barely any aftermarket support!?

***The competition***

The reason chevys are better; aftermarket support (a big issue for me), engine reliability.

The reason Fords are better; they're so ugly from the get go, it doesn't matter how you treat them, they're still ugly...

***Funny, most of the above still holds true***

The reason I still drive the Dodge, the engine is GREAT, and it handles loads/towing better than Ford or GM. Not to mention it really is a good looking truck!
