Default truck cap and fuel injectors

Hello,
I have a couple questions which I searched but didn't find the answers.
1) Has anyone used a gen3 model truck cap on their gen4 truck. It doesn't look like that much of a difference other than the curvy tail gate.
2) what service is recommended for fuel injectors at 80k mark if any. I'm not getting the mileage I use to. replaced plugs and filters.
Thanks,
Doug

I bought a new cap when I got my truck new.. Not sure if Gen 3 will fit, but the cap did come with a replacement top plastic piece for the tailgate that allowed the flat glass window to seal along the top of the tailgate. This is probably something you would need to order from the cap place when putting a used cap on the truck.

I would try some injector cleaner put in the gastank at about 1/4 tank and run till empty. See how that works to clean the injectors before you take it to a garage to have them clean them. You might want to check the O2 sensors which may be going bad causeing bad gas mileage..
