I removed mine with fishing line and a pair of gloves. You can remove most of the remaining adhesive by pulling it slowly toward you. I removed the excess adhesive with a rag lightly soaked in gasoline and then cleaned off the panels and applied a new coat of wax. I'm sure some people will criticize me for using gasoline, but all factory paint is durability-tested for the ability to survive gasoline exposure.

just started my truck tonight......not that bad....used fishing line...letters came of easy....rubbed off black adhesive with my fingers, goof off to remove excess adhesive, then finished up with some light compound and spray detailer....came out great. only thing is some fading occurred around letters, but my friend is going to wheel buff it for me. it is very minor. Going to finish drivers side tomorrow.....thought it was going to be more difficult.
