Well, I am back after a year or so and still have not installed my cam..... lost my job last year and renting my house now so I lost my garage...I still have all my parts and might get this project going again soon..... I finally ran my jeep in some 40 degree weather earlier this year And got a best of 13.76 so that is the fastest time I have ran so far. I hope to knock off another .15/.20 off that and maybe get into the 13.5's ....... This is figuring Ina good custom tune on the 6.4 cam...... Anybody else have some good results to report??? TBF

Yea I did it. I have dyno results after but none before. With you having a GC your tuning would be a lot better then mine and your a lot closer to some better shops. Its not an expensive swap but not super cheap either unless you do you own install. I really would recommend boost but the cam swap for you may yield better results.

I haven't done this to my truck, but I did add the 6.4 cam to my challenger and it added 60 rwhp / 31 rwtq. The cam with parts, labor and tuning ran me $2150 out the door. It's not super cheap but it's not super expensive either.

I'm interested too, done a little looking around and people have said it has been done but I haven't seen any examples on a 13, just people stating a guy they know has done it and such. I want to hear from the horses mouth.

I have a dyno result of 290 rwhp and 3 xx rwtq. I don't have before numbers but I do have before track times. Friday the track finally opens So I'll have some actual numbers to go by.

So do we finally have a full parts list for the 6.4 Cam swap into a 5.7?

Ebay Prices
6.4 Cam $80
PSI Valve Spring kit $300
MDS or non-MDS Lifters $250
Phase Limiter $85

Total $715 (Parts) + Labor or DIY

Tune after $Varies

Am I missing anything that is needed or have too much in there?

My 2009 5.7L is running like crap and I think it may be bad lifters and hopefully not a damaged cam but if so and I am going to be in there anyways I am looking to do this along with ATI pulley and Efan as well. 4.56 Gears will come later.

Did you put in the 392 intake manifold to go with it?

I have to do more research, but i don't think the phase limiter is needed, but custom length pushrods are required.
