Default 04.5 2500 Cummins lift questions

So i've had my 04.5 2500 cummins now for about a year. It had a levelling kit and 35's on it already when I bought it. I don't do much offroading with it, just snow runs and a little mudding, but it really is stiff since it has to support all that weight. If I get a 4" or 6" lift on it, will it soften the ride a bit from the stock suspention? Or would I have to save for the 6" long arm kit? I have almost no flex as is and start picking up my tires in no time flat.

I don't spend enough time offroad to have a dedicated offroad rig anymore so I thought if all i do is a little mud and snow anymore that this would be all I need.

Thanks for the help.

Default Lift will help

Well, I'm a 2nd gen 2500 but a small lift will be a better ride than a leveling job IMHO. I'm 6'2 though and have to use my step up bar to get in (also have to use a drop down hitch for hauling). My differentials are about 11" clearance. Good luck.
