Default Wheel question

So I'm installing my bilsteins and 1" rear spacer next week on my 2013 CC and I'm wanting wheels
I would like to run a 33x12.5x20. Looking at a few rims (fuel,xd ect)
Can I run a 20x10 ?? I like the fatter look but I also don't want the wheels sticking out too far as I plan on just running oem flares ??
Anyone running a 20x10 ??
And if so what offset and if you had pics that would be wicked AWSOME
Also if not able to get the 20x10s, what's the best off set for the 20x9s with a little bit poking out ??
Thanks guys
Cale

I had 20x10 -24 rims on my last truck for a while. They stuck out some but not terrible. I had 295/60r20 which was a little over 34 if I remember correctly. No rubbing at all with maxed bilsteins.

Here's a couple pics

Is there a reason you only want to go with 33's rather than stepping up to 35's?

I'm running 20x9 -12 offset wheels with 35x12.5 Toyo MT's and I stick out 2" on the front. So that's past your OEM flares (1.5"). A 20x10 -12 offset would stick out a half inch further than that. So it's do-able but you'll be sticking out 2.5".

For 20x9's a 0 offset will stick out 1.5", -12 offset will stick out 2" (as stated above). My wheel/tire thread linked in my signature below has some pictures showing how far my tires stick out.

Default Well

Well the reason for 33"s is some trucks I see on bills and 35"s looks like too big. What I'm saying is the wheel well looks too full. So I thought with 33"s it would look better IMO. I see what your saying with the 20x10s, the tires will stick out too far for my liking. So I'm back with the 20x9s the and probably a 0 offset.
Thanks guys
Cale

Fair enough, I definitely see what you're saying there.

Be sure to post some pics once you get it all installed

Consider the 34" tire similar to kcbigbadram, its a great middle ground and is a 295 wide tire.

I personally believe and know that on a leveled ram, the 20x9, 0 offset will still give you a wider stance than stock.
I ran that for a bit, but due to lifting mine higher, I needed a more negative offset rim

If you need any pricing on tires or rims or a combo deal, reach out to me

Ya I could do a 34" but want a more aggressive tire then he has
I read that the federal 35" is close to 34" ???
What's the actuall OD of the federal 33" and 35"
I read in the federal site that its almost 35"
Thanks guys

Correct!
Most 35" MT tires out there with the exception of Nitto Trail, Toyo MT (and a few others) are actually 34.5" measured. This includes The Federal MT. Then when inflated and mounted on the truck, it will measure down 3/4"-1" less
So 33.5"-33.75"
