$100 a month? I would kill for that. I pay that a week for fuel LOL.

Commute is 40 miles a day round trip. 200 miles a week. Plus I go other places in the evenings, end up using 3/4 tank a week on average.

I think he is saying that prior to his Ram his old vehicle cost him under $100 a month not that his Ram is around $100 a month.

I am the same as you about $100 or more a week.

That's nuts, I make pretty decent money and could not part with that much for gas. I spend on average $200 a month on gas, 89 octane w/ no ethanol. I just miss only having to put 14 gallons in my 4 bangers and riding for two weeks on it. This truck is my first V-8 powered full size truck.

Well, deal is done. I took a bath on the trade-in but I couldn't get any love on trying to sell it privately. I have sort of gone to the other end of the spectrum, 2013 GTI. I drove a lot of different cars and this one put the biggest smile on my face..
Now I am going to take off the extras from the truck, try to recoup a bit but selling those.

Damn I feel fortunate on the amount of gas I purchase per month....

I'll usually put in about $60 every 10-12 days. My Ram is my daily driver, except when I'm playing with my go-kart, and we often use it to run around town.

Good luck to the OP, the GTI is a great lil car, be sure to stop back and post up some pics
