As far as the wiring in the OH console, I am not sure if they are there or not as I've seen soooo many different harnesses used in the same generation trucks.

I was looking at the homelink and saw three wires one green and i think a white and a brown or something. I'm wondering if the other two wires are "keyed" and "always on." If so I could use my mirror from the tundra. I just need to find a connector to terminate than run the wires to the fuse box.

I'll do some home work

PS. sorry about jacking the tread.

Default Total width

Do you know the total width with the mirrors in the non-towing position.
Hope I can pull into the garage without folding the mirrors in. I have a 9' wide door.

The mirrors look great. I had briefly looked at adding towing mirrors to my Tahoe but they seemed a little shakey. Looking forward to looking behind!

Hi everyone, another newbie/first poster here. I have a problem along the same lines. Just took delivery of a 2013 Ram 2500HD Diesel 4X4 Mega Cab Rambox. I got it to tow my TT and later a 5er but it came with the power fold mirrors instead of the Tow Mirrors. They say Dec. before they get any in and the cost for installation will bee about $1000. The question is do I have any other options, or is that a reasonable price.

Unreasonable price. There are multiple options on line and a couple of guys here can get you deals. Installation is very easy. You can DIY in about 45 min tops. Stay away from the dealer.

Dodge tow mirrors are the worst design by any manufacturer. Especially 2nd and 3rd gens the blind spot piece is useless when the mirrors are flipped down, and if you flip them up you have to re adjust your mirrors. I went from an 05 Titan with the tow mirrors to an 08 cummins with tow mirrors and it was like I went blind. Dodge needs a re-do. Nissan Yota GM and Ford all have the right idea with the tow mirrors being slide out not flip up...

That being said, you could make them work from a Titan but you would need to fabricate your own mounting plate (adapter from nissan base to dodge door) and custom wire them so they function correctly. Anything is possible with enough money and ingenuity
