Default 3.55 gears and Bullydog programmer

I am wondering what kind of felt improvement is gained with the 4.7L running 3.55 gears and a bullydog 87 octane tune. Was it enough to justify the cost of the programmer or do you wish you would have saved up and bought new gears?

I would get the gears and a tuner. Gears will help and so will a tuner, put them together and you have even more out of the truck

The tuner definitely makes a big difference. I won't drive me truck without it now, the shift points and lack of power/torque is just unbearable. I don't regret buying the tuner one bit!

I would do the tuner first and see how you like it. Then if you feel the need, go for the gear change.
