Default Ebay day dreaming or reallity? turbo my 5.7l?

So I have basic upgrades tb, cai, superchips, exhaust but as most I want more. I was just pondering the idea if throwing a small psi turbo for more torque and hp would this help mpg? I drive my 04 alot and do not have the funds for a supercharger on ebay i found a small turbo kit with blow off valve for about $200 this sounds like those electrical supercharger scams being i paid near $1800 for a turbo for my old powerjoke 6.0 turbo. what I really want is more torque, and im waiting for most responses to be the gearing selection

Don't know much about turbos, but the price difference throws a red flag immediately. Esp ebay. I don't trust shit off ebay for anything.

$200? what..is it made of cardboard? I would steer clear of that my friend. Best advice I can tell you is that as soon as you accept that you drive a half ton pick up truck that's going to get shitty MPG...the happier you'll be. I went out and bought a beater car for $1500 bucks that gets 40mpg all day long. and it's a 1994. So spend you money on something like that

If your doing this build for mpg you may not be satisfied with it. You may see a small increase while on the highway but it would never be justified. If you really just want to build a small turbo kit it maybe better to just stock pile parts over time rather than just upping all the cash at once. A turbo kit costing 200 dollars i would be very scared of. One thing i learned about the mod game you get what you pay for. So do some good research. Sometimes spending more money is good money.

Dont get the ebay kit!!! They last maybe 2000 miles before letting go. You get what you pay for, for sure. Send us an email and we can see what we can do for you. Sales@bullysperformance.com

If you go with a turbo the most popular setup is probably the STS.
