Never been a GM fan and never owned one. Never considered a Japanese truck.

I have had 2 Ford trucks and 2 Ram trucks along with a Durango ... by far I prefer the Ram. Value, looks, performance make it an all around great truck. I did give the Ford a look when considering buying my '11 a few years back but couldn't do it since I wanted that HEMI!

True and it is too bad so many are stuck in brand loyalty, because improvements are constantly being made... case in point the Ram has constantly and consitently improved. IMHO Ram beats the other two. I just spoke with a new Ram owner who was a "Ford guy", said he would only drive Fords. He got this Ram only because it was one helluva deal, hardly any mileage and was owned by a guy who was meticulous in his care of the truck. The woman who sold it to him had just lost her husband (the owner) and wanted to get rid of it. Anyway he loves the Ram, said it beats any of his Fords and is not likely to go back.

A good point... to the showers immediately.

I think Ram has a great chance with those like me who are not brand loyal. So many are just stuck on GM, Ford, etc., and will never buy anything else. But, if people will really test them all, I think Ram stands a very good chance of swaying buyers.

EXCEPT - why are so many Chrysler dealers just plain out old jerks?!? Two recent ones I went to test drive - wow! Seems they go out of their way to hire knucklehaids for salespeople.
