Question 33 or 35???

I have a 2013 ram 1500 with 3:55 gears will 35x12.50 be good or should i stick with 33s? still debating if i want to keep my stock 20s or get some 17s what would be the best combo? I am looking at baja ATZ tires with this setup unless you can recommend something better

Thanks
TM

If you don't mind losing a lot more bottom end at take offs, especially running 3.55's, by all means, 35's look good. The 35's will show you exactly what I mean when towing though with your current rear gear. 33's are just about right for daily driving and towing with 3.55's. Now if you forgot to mention on your 2013 that you have the 8speed, then the 35's would not be a factor because of that 4.1-4.3 first gear.

Definitely go for the 35's. They look that much better and there's actually less of a hit in power loss than most people would expect. I'm running 35" MT's with a 4.7 and 3.55's and I don't regret it at all.

what are you basing that you could only fit a 34" tire with a level I have seen lots of information from people running 35"s with just a level

Shop that did mine said the 1.5" daystar would only allow for 275/65/20. .... They definately could be wrong, regardless im happy with 34, plenty big for 2wd

35's all day. You can run them no problem with a level and definitely suit the rams. As far as rims, that's all on you. I upgraded my tires and kept my stock 20's for now because that's what I like. Do some picture browsing to see what you like and go from there.

As far as performance with 35's.. Yes I notice some bottom end loss but really nothing to complain about.
