Default Need help with possible wireing problem?

I recently installed a double din screen in my truck. I have out in plenty of after market HUs before but not many with a pac harness.

Anyways since doing so while driving on the highway I hear a clicking/ticking noise from possibly the steering wheel Colum or to the left of it, it's hard to tell.

Sometimes the ticking happens a lot sometimes it never happens. Also this morning driving while it was still dark out I noticed that whenever I heard the sound that my headlights either dimmed or turned off but back on right away.

I have no idea if the pac harness has anything to do with this but it started a little after the install.

Also I know I spelt wiring wrong in the thread title.

I don't know a whole lot about 4th Gen. head units, except that they can be a PITA! But it sounds like you've got an arcing going on and every time it arcs, or grounds, it effects the headlights.

Just to add to this I put the stock deck back in, and it is still doing it!
