Some more cheap/free mods:

1. Remove pillar tape on doors
2. Cabin Air Filter Mod (these trucks don't come with one)
3. Debadge - I removed all my badges except the Hemi, and Ram Heads.

Also, give him a congrats on the new truck and tell him to sign up to this forum. Loads of info that will give him MOD FEVER!!! but there are also great dealers on here that give members discounts (Bully's Performance to name one)
Thanks so much. Wow no cabin filter... I wouldn't have guessed that. Thanks!

Good to know about the discounts. This seems like a nice forum. I know some are just bad people are rude and just well not civil.

this one sure is a good one! I will pass on the info to my dad.

He did get 17.2MPG on his 400 mile trip back home driving 75-78mph. I told him that is pretty good for a 395HP truck with 36miles on it when he got it + driving that fast.

His mpg will only get better after it is broken in.

I also forgot to mention that Bully's Performance will also do there best to match/beat any price you find. And that isn't just for Rams, it also goes for anything you need for that Ford of yours.

So, if your dad or you are not on the forum much at least come back and look for deals on any parts you need.

I`d remove the front bumper air dam, I took mine off, it looks much better with it off.

Thanks Crow!

renegade isn't that the air damn that brings some air into the radiator? I know on some cars if you remove this you can have problems. Might not be the case with these trucks. Not sure.

Only do this if you care more about looks than fuel economy. That air dam changes the pressure wave under the truck.

I did that to my Jeep Wrangler and lost 1-2 mpg, right off the start.
