Well good or bad depending on how you look at it. Most insurances companies will total out a flooded vehicle reguardless of damage. Reason being is you can just never be sure and they dont want to be liable down the road for electrical issues, mechanical issues or even mold issues.

That said, if you really love the truck you might be able to by back the slavage, own it free and clear and do what you want with it.

Sounds like there isn't enough time from alarm to open gates - Glad you made it. As Police and Fire I have had to look for people who don't.

There was probably a good 5 minutes from hearing the alarm to water rising and I was already so close to the waters edge with no way out till I got to the ramp out. Another 30 seconds and I would've made it

Update* hauled truck to dealership and looked around a bit closer inside. The glovebox was full of water so a little deeper than I thought.
