Default Belltech lowering kit help

Got the 2/4 drop installed and noticed there is less than half inch clearance between front bump stops and lower arm. Has anybody cut the stops for a little better ride or just leave it alone? Its not real rough but do notice more since the install.

You mean the new Belltech stops...? You did cut off the bumpstop cups and then install the new bumpstops right?

Hmm, is it bottoming out or just seems to be a rougher ride? The Belltech shocks will be a stiffer ride than the factory shocks if you changed them out.

Unfortunately thats how it is, before the install there isnt a whole lot of travel in the front to start with, take away 2 inches and you dont have much left over, mines the same and maybe and inch clearance in the rear. i have only completely bottomed out a few times on big dips and where old pavement met new.

i live in oklahoma to give you an idea. Lol.

Ive thought about take the kit off from time to time, but its what brings my truck together and i like it way too much, and the compliments are a nice plus!!
