Default Torque Management & ESC

I have the BD tuner and it has made a big difference in the way my truck runs and shifts but I cant help but think there is more in the engine/trans that is left on the table. I am thinking of getting one of your custom tunes when it becomes available for my 2013(but I think ur gonna be really busy). So my question is when I look up the Diablo tuner it does not have a function to reduce TM?? Are you able to reduce that in the tune and if so how much compared to a canned diablo tune or a canned BD tune. Second, I pulled the fuse for ESC and gained a lot more power, but I dont like running with a pulled fuse and no ABS. I see a function to disable ESC but read somewhere about the ability to reduce ESC in the tune, the 4wds can turn ESC off up to a certain speed and that would be great. Do you address that in your tune. Also, do you change torque converter lockup. When I decelerate in traffic to 40mph the truck remains in 5th with the TQ locked and really bogs down at 1100rpms. Would you be able to fix that in a custom tune. I know its a lot of questions but Im trying to justify getting a second tuner. Thanks. Mike

I don't know what all will be avail for 2013 on the initial release yet. I can disable more tm in custom tuning than the preloaded tunes do. I don't have an answer yet on the ESC question. I can do quite a bit with the trans functionality on the '11 and '12s but I don't know yet how the 8 speed tuning will look. I do believe the 8 speed is a gpec pcm (like the hemi cars) and there's not gonna be anything to trans tune.

For '11 and '12 and those who can use a computer and don't mind email tunes, there is no comparison for power output and overall driveability from what I do with Diablo and any other tuner. We'll see if I can say that on the '13 lol

I have the six speed trans so it should be all good when the tuner comes out. At least it gives me time to get all my other mods done before you do a custom tune. I was able to move the shift points up to 5960 with the BD but would like to go a little higher to 6200. I like the way the motor feels at 6000 rpms. I see some guys shifting at 6400 or 6500 and having good results at the track so I am looking forward to one day being able to have a custom tune. For now its BD, no way I could go back to stock.
