Default Husky Mud Flaps.........

My set of front and back Husky mud flaps came in last week. I was looking to install them later today but had a thought. They come with the paint protection strips to go against the body to protect against rubbing. But what about the inner portion on the inside of the truck???? I'm talking about the inner portion of the fender well where the mud flap actually mounts. I would imagine that the flap rubs against the paint as well there. I only plan on keeping my mud flaps on till the end on JAN 14, cause that's when hunting season ends. I don't want to remove them and have paint all f-d up. Anyone have any issues with this? Where could I pick up some tape? Autozone or Lowes??
