Default looking for grey nerf bars

Taking delivery of a two tone outdoorsman soon and would love to find some nerf bars that are a darker grey like the lower two tone color on the truck. Doesn't have to be exact, but I don't want chrome and would prefer something grey over black.

Prefer oval over round but that's not critical. Anyone know of a set that isn't either chrome or black and runs more grey?

The only thing I have ever seen on the market is black or chrome. What about getting a good used set of what you want (maybe even a few scratches for character) and than prepping them and painting them yourself? They have some nice urethane paints out these days that are about as durable as powdercoat, within reason...I wouldn't go bouncing off stumps with it lol

Thanks!

I did think of that and in fact one outfit said they had some they could get painted for me.

I may in fact bounce off a stump on occasion though--or at least I will take it off road.

At this point I may have to compromise with something that isn't dark black in appearance. Thinking of TrailFX black chrome step boards or maybe the black powder coated stainless Romik set that looks like a running board laid on a tube. Kind of like the latter, waiting on a price from a couple of people though.

Anyone with experience with either and especially if they have pics they can post would be much appreciated!

you could always get a set and have them put linex on them in whatever shade of grey you want, then you wouldnt have to worry much about the paint chipping

Well I think I decided to go with the Romiks. Kind of a cross between a running board and nerf bar. Black powder coat that doesn't appear to be too shiny and looks a bit grey in some light. Only problem is Romik won't have any ready to ship for around a month!

I am also having this problem. I have a Max Steel sport and am looking for something in like a brushed aluminum like the wheels or something that is gun metal. I dont want chrome and black looks sort of unfinished with the Max steel. I cant find anything.

Not really a nerf bar but if these would work they might be something you could check out, Rharasem. http://www.trailfx.com/6-inch-step-boards.html

Black chrome color--I think that is what is displayed in the pic with the red vehicle. I had no luck finding any better pictures of that color though--even went right to the distributor who was no help.

^ Those look like standard black to me. I'd like to see the black chrome ones as well. One could always go with pink. Make a statement.
