I run a ReadyLift on mine, 2.5" front lift and 1.5" rear lift. Sits perfect for me. Not nearly the truck my old 24v is but it's a OK grocery getter. Just need to upgrade the tires now.

Hey allpar was wondering if with your tuner you can take of the governor and change the shift point on the trans? I take it you have the 6 speed? How about changing your tire size to calibrate with the gauges? Thanks a lot man.

Yup, the Bully Dog will allow you to do all of that. Once you have it installed you will never want to drive the truck without it again.

Even if it's 100% stock it will still make a huge difference. Especially in the shift points.

As long as you read through the instructions and follow them closely it's not hard to set up at all. The first thing you want to do when you get the tuner is plug it in to your computer and update it to make sure you have the latest software version. From there it's just a matter of wiring a few things into the truck (OBDII plug in, power wire, and HDMI chord) and then plugging in the tuner and installing the tune. The tuner will prompt you with instructions on how to install it. Just follow those and you'll be fine.

I will always plug it into the computer to see what the latest software update it shows, but usually there's another update released that hasn't made it to their updated yet. I just installed the latest the other day which was A022 and the updated only took me to A016. Their customer service and tech dept is awesome and I've never waited to speak to someone. They'll fix or get you loaded with everything you need.

As far as installing it in the truck...I didn't hard wire mine in for permanent installation. It's all personal preference, I'll just plug it into my obdII port, do the update and then disconnect it. You can hard wire it in so that it's in front of you all the time and you can see your readings. I don't necessarily want to see that all the time so I just adjust or tune what I need and press on. Best of luck and if there's any other questions Branden or I would be glad to assist.
