Default Change to synthetic oil

Was lucky enough for the last year nd last 20,000 miles my dealer did all of my oil changes. I was curious if I could switch to synthetic oil with that many miles already on the truck. I have the 4.7 engine. Thanks for the info in advance.

I switched right at 2500-3000 miles. My first oil change.
Truck drove noticeably different. In a good way
