Default De-badging after 3.5 years will it leave a shadow?

If I debage my Ram after 3.5 years of the elements will it leave a shadow? I guess if it does I can just plastidip them and put them back on. Just wondering what others had experienced after a couple years.

You should be able to use a medium grit compound by hand and rub it out. Any 3M product will do. Then use a cleaner wax and then polish.

I had a little bit of "yellowing" when I took the SLT off my tailgate after 8 years of it being stuck on there. Couldn't really see it unless you knew where it was. After a couple days, I couldn't find it anymore.
