You can still buy a Ripp kit,
or just go with the Procharger Kit from Arrington/ShopHemi, http://www.shophemi.com/
and have Arrington custom tune it for you.


The main difference from the Procharger to the Ripp is the intercooler setup

Ripp = Water to Air
Procharger = Air to Air

If i went with a ripp kit what would be the best way to tune it, Get a Diablosport Trinity T1000 and take it to a performance shop?

Not just anyone can tune it, it "should" be a Diablo CMR with Boost experience.
If you buy a Ripp kit or Procharger kit I believe a Diablo Tuner DCX In-Tune is included in the purchase price
You can upgrade to a T-1000 Trinity for $300 more if you prefer

I believe UNBROKEN had his Procharger installed and tuned by Arrington on his 2012 R/T
I'm not aware of anyone with a 2012 running a Ripp kit yet, but plenty are waiting for them to release tuning for it before they purchase.

Ah at that point its just the mapping on it? I sent ripp and email but they are gone this week. I want to ask them about it before i spend the money and buy the kit.

Edit: how does it effect it with my throttle body i have and magnaflow full cat back exhaust, Will i need to replace these parts when i upgrade?

Do you know if that kit will work on my 2012 and how the mapping would effect it? Can i use the ripp kit as is? and upgrade to the T1000?

From my last discussion with them last week, they can support the 12 and you cannot use the kit as is without the tuner as that is where the mapping lies and what tells your truck computer that there is a SC and tells it how to act.

BlackRamHemi, did not need one as he had one already.

Throttle Body and Exhaust doesn't matter, stock works fine
although a slightly larger TB and free flowing exhaust helps,
I have a Fastman 85mm TB and as I mentioned before, I also have the Magnaflow CatBack
and last year added JBA shorty headers for more flow.

Ripp's tune shut my rear o2 sensors off so I'll be gutting my stock cats next.



The Diablo InTune DCX is specific for 12' Hemi Rams only
But the T-1000 will work on any model year Hemi Ram except the new 13's

You need a full blown custom dyno tuning session for a 2012
Ripp has not developed a Tune for the 2012's yet



Have I not made that point yet?
