In for updates, especially once the headers are done and the full system can hit the dyno.

and please dyno just the cat back as well, not the whole system. Maybe that can be a second run with the headers.

I really would like to see a cat back dyno with a few runs. I don't want to lose any torque at all and don't wan't the curve moved at all.

as far as the tips, I would be concerned that the 5" would get hot and be too close to the color match bumper. Maybe you guys could look at that, that last thing I want is my bumper messed up from hot exhaust tips. I would rather just keep the 4" in that case.

I just watched the video, Great Job!

If I'm interested in headers and the exhaust, can I expect a package discount???

I too would be interested in a complete set-up. I had the 5" tips on my 2010 and they fit the factory cutouts perfectly, I saw no evidence that they got too hot and discolored the bumper.

How about from the cats backward (replacing the crushed pipes before the y) with an option to add an anti drone pipe (have no idea what it is actually called but is a sealed section of pipe that eats sound waves). That in a package with 5" tips would be dynamite. Might see what a shop would charge to build that if somebody doesn't make a kit by the time diablo makes me a tuner

just wondering but why go with 3" pipe and not 2.5"?
these trucks are not running at 5000 rpm all the time so to use 3" pipe would be a down fall. too much volume and not enough flow, exhaust gases will just get trapped in the pipe. 2.5" is really the MAX for these truck even if you are pushing 500 whp 3" is a waste unless you are driving at 5000 rpm all day. daily drives 2.5" max. get best performance and flow with 2.5" . many ppl make the mistake of running 3" pipe when doing true duals, 2.5" is really the very max.
will just kill you in low end. 2.5" is the way to go

but then again the dyno results could prove wrong. but still think 2.5" is best.

sounds good tho, no lie. like the setup, just donno about the 3" pipe

exactly why I want to see a dyno. Too many cat backs just focus on the sounds and some high level hp gains.

I want to see the torque curve stock vs cat back and see that no low rpm ft lbs were lost

We have been doing this a long time and the Difference between 2.5" and 3" exhaust is VERY minimal. With the new engines in today's vehicles, the motors are all Variable timing. An engine is nothing but an air pump. Brings air in and pushes it out. With the Variable timing the exhaust pulse and speed will never have a constant so 3" vs 2.5" wont make a noticeable difference. Your still using Stock Manifold and Stock Cats. So you will not loose any power or Torque. 3" Exhaust will only help free up the exhaust gasses, With Less Restriction Which frees up the efficiency of the motor and leads to more power. The 3" system also allows for more performance down the road if needed with no additional mods of exhaust to support other mods such as headers, supercharges, heads, cams, so on so on.
