Got the idea offline on another dodge website.. using 5/8 heims and grade 9 hardware. hellwig mounting brackets that i scored off ebay. any input would be nice.. i dont really need these but i get bored when i dont have a project to work on! lol. going to get new inner bushings and clean up my sway bar too. heres a few pics. waiting for the threaded sleeves to come in and the other heim joints.

Thanks. yeah, my stock tie rod ends are alittle worn out on the upper bushing. normal wear. the bottom joint that is like a ball joint is on a pretty bad angle. i just figure build a better working/looking solution

Lol, I did something similar on my jeep. The rod ends work well and allow great adjustability. Downside is they will get noisy fast. Doesn't matter how clean you keep them, they will get noisy.

You will here them over every bump after about a month. Keeping them greased helps, but not much. goes from a metalic squeak to a clanging depending on how dry they are and how far they wear.

On the bright side they actually do work really well!
