Default Yellow dashboard light question

I have a yellow dashboard light on located in my dashboard on the lower left corner and I'm not sure what it means. It is in the shape of something like an engine. any help on what it means is appreciated.

Malfunction indicator light.

Certain conditions such as a loose or missing gas cap, poor fuel quality, etc., may illuminate the light after engine start.

This is from my ram toolbox app.

if it isn't the fuel cap or shitty fuel take it to the dealer to check out.

It's your check engine light. If you can have it towed to the dealership that is better than driving it as you might cause damage if something is seriously malfunctioning.

It isn't necessary to panic and have it towed. Just make an appointment and get the dealer to check it out asap.

seeing that your RPM's are at 0 along with the seatbelt light, those are just the Key on lights ( they have many names). basically, with key on, engine off, these lights will come on. however if the light is on while you're driving, then you need to see what codes are being thrown. go to the dealership, or an autozone and they'll pull the codes for free

Default Don't panic just yet....

I keep a copy of my owners manual on my desktop in pdf form for reasons like this.
Regarding the outline of an engine symbol...

Taken from the Ram Owners manual:

26. Malfunction Indicator Light (MIL)
The Malfunction Indicator Light (MIL) is part of an onboard diagnostic (OBDII) system which monitors the emissions and engine control system.
If the vehicle is ready for emissions testing, the light will come on when the ignition is first turned on and remain on, as a bulb check, until the engine is started. If the vehicle is not ready for emissions testing the light will come on when the ignition is first turned on and remain on for 15 seconds, then blink for 5 seconds, and remain on until the vehicle is started. If the bulb does not come on during starting, have the condition investigated promptly. If this light comes on and remains on while driving, it suggests a potential engine control problem and the need for system service. Although your vehicle will usually be drivable and not need towing, see your authorized dealer for service as soon as possible.

Prolonged driving with the MIL on could cause damage to the engine control system. It also could affect fuel economy and drivability. If the MIL is flashing, severe catalytic converter damage and power loss will soon occur. Immediate service is required.

If it stays on, I'd have it checked as soon as possible but I wouldn't feel the need to tow it. Just my opinion based on the passage. Hope this helps.

Turn on your truck.

Is the light still there?
