What exactly do you want a dyno of? For someone to spend hundreds and hundreds of dollars(maybe even over $1,000) to compare a cat back exhaust to a muffler swap when they are 99% identical, to show basically no hp and torque difference, is honestly just a waste. Nobody is going to do that.

Sometimes it comes down to common sense. One exhaust system compared to an exhaust system 99.9% identical but from a different supplier is not going to make any difference. It is just not worth the cost to dyno it to prove it. It can be proven without the high cost.

Sean, funny thing is that I am I'm your camp. I like noise and power on a budget. Since I am not currently in the market for long tubes e cut outs and true duals because I I only have a drop in and a tuner I was just trying to say that but sumo doesn't count and sometimes even the sound since I am half deaf anyways. But because I have been creeping all of the exhaust mod posts I have seen th same questions, answers and argument of the past month, and in addition to that some people just won't budge without a true measure. And some just like to spend money on shiny and new

So I am just lining up a muffler swap myself and even convinced myself that the y pipe swap can wait to see if I go any further than the big three

Sorry for the non English mmmmmm beer

^well most people do dual tail pipes and the 4.7L doesn't come with dual tailpipes, so no. If you do a single tailpipe then yes, but the offset is a little different than oem so you or an exhaust shop needs to make a bend in a pipe to get it to line up. I'd buy mandrel bent SS and take it to an exhaust shop and tell them what you want, if you care that much. If you don't really care then just let them do their thing, they will crush bend mild steel pipe. Or DIY but you really need a welder.

I got my magnaflow mufflex installed. It was easy and done in about 20 minutes, all it took was 10 wacks with hammer and peace of wood. I did not even have jack it up. The 2012 5.7 and 4.7 HAVE THE SAME SINGLE EXHUST SETUP. I purchased the one listed for the 5.7 and it lined up perfectly as mufflex told me it would. I love the sound of my 18inch on my truck. it is loud with accelerating and barely hear it when cruising and best thing it's not permanent and be put back to stock in minutes.
